Clarke secondo Caruso

Ragazzi girando pera la rete ho trovato questo interessante, secondo me, modo per studiare il Clarke!!!
E' un alunno di Caruso che descrive come Caruso stesso faceva studiare il Clarke ai suoi alunni. Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate, buono studio!!!

Here's how Carmine used the Clarke book with me.

First week:
Take Ex. 1-6 and slur slowly for a week, two eighths to a beat at mm=60.

Second week:
Slur Ex. 1-6 fast for a week, six eighth notes to a beat.
Plus add Ex. 7-12 slur slow.

Third week:
Ex. 1-6 single tongue slow
Ex. 7-12 slur fast
Ex. 13-18 slur slow

Fourth week:
Ex. 1-6 single tongue fast
Ex. 7-12 single tongue slow
Ex. 13-18 slur fast
Ex. 19-25 slur slow

Fifth week:
Ex. 1-6 double tongue slow
Ex. 7-12 single tongue fast
Ex. 13-18 single tongue slow
Ex. 19-25 slur fast
Ex. 27-31 slur slow

Sixth week:
Ex. 1-6 double tongue fast
Ex. 7-12 double tongue slow
Ex. 13-18 single tongue fast
Ex. 19-25 single tongue slow
Ex. 27-31 slur fast
Ex. 32-36 slur slow

Seventh week:
Ex. 7-12 double tongue fast
Ex. 13-18 double tongue slow
Ex. 19-25 single tongue fast
Ex. 27-31 single tongue slow
Ex. 32-36 slur fast
Ex. 37-40 slur slow

The pattern should be clear at this time. On Ex. 133 you would use triple tonguing instead of double tonguing.

Apply the Four Rules to these exercises and DISREGARD all dynamic and phrase markings. Everything to be played at MF. Use three repeats on the First Study and Second Study: Exercises 1-44. You would play each line 4 times. Use one repeat thereafter for the rest of the book. Keep the mouthpiece on for each grouping of exercises.

Should take about 2 years to finish this assignment. At that time you will have played through the book six different ways!

Non so, secondo me il Clarke funziona così bene così come è scritto... E' uno dei metodi più efficaci in assoluto, per quanto mi riguarda, insieme allo Stamp.

Caruso, ed il suo metodo hanno risolto vari problemi a tanti musicisti, ma già sul suo metodo ci sono tante interpretazioni "pericolose" che i problemi li hanno creati. Figuriamoci se l'interpretazione di Caruso di un libro non suo, viene applicata ad altri......
Secondo me lo studio mirato e personalizzato, con libri o con sistemi vari, è utile in quanto tale, cioè giustamente indirizzato ad un individuo, non necessariamente funzionerà con tutti.....anzi.....

Non ho trovato altra discussione sul Caruso, come mai?
Sandoval, nell'intervista di Lindemann, dice di usare le six notes...e tanti altri grandi. In fondo, con un po' di forzatura, anche il warm-up di Adam Rapa fa rifermineto ad alcuni concetti di Caruso. Nessuno lo ha provato?
